Organic Choices on Fruits and Vegetables!

On the show today, Dr. Nathalie Beauchamp, the co-author of "Wellness on The Go" talks about the choices we can make when purchasing organic fruit and vegetables. The organic choice is usually more expensive, but there are certain fruits and vegetables that you should be purchasing as organic and others which you can pass on…
Here is the list:
Items that SHOULD be purchased ORGANIC: They tend to be the most contaminated:
Fruit:
Apples, Cherries, Grapes, Nectarines, Strawberries, Peaches, Pears & Raspberries
Vegetables:
Celery, Cucumbers, Green beans, Lettuce, Peppers, Potatoes, Pumpkins, Spinach & Squash. On the other hand, the following items tend to be less contaminated and therefore a safer option to skip on:
Fruit:
Bananas, Blueberries, Grapefruit, Kiwis, Mangoes, Melons, Oranges, Papayas, Pineapples, Plums, Tangerines, Watermelon
Vegetables:
Asparagus, Avacados, Broccoli, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Eggplant, Onions, Peas, Radishes, Tomatoes.
Something to think about when making that grocery list and checking the budget!
