Vinney White - Gambas al Pil-Pil (Sizzling Hot Chili Shrimp)

Ingredients

  1. 8 ounces uncooked medium shrimp, peeled, deveined
  2. 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  3. 1/4 cup olive oil
  4. 2 garlic cloves
  5. 2 JalapeƱo peppers
  6. Pinch paprika
  7. 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in medium skillet over high heat. Add garlic, and chopped jalapeƱo peppers. Get really hot.
  2. Place shrimp in the mix and retain a high heat.
  3. Add shrimp; stir until just cooked through, about 4 minutes.
  4. Transfer to serving dish with the oil.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.
  6. Eat with French bread and salad.
