Go Boating

I want to go Boating!! Enough of the snow, enough of the rain… I want to get out on the water!
I hit the Ottawa Boat and Sportsmen’s Show today at Lansdowne Park and that was a blast.
It runs right through the weekend and I recommend it! Beautiful Boats, Fishing Gear, Paintball, Kids Fun Zone, planning getaways – something for all!
I can’t believe March is already here this weekend.. So nice! I’m really hoping we get an early spring…
We moved into a new house in September and I’m itching to do some painting and landscaping.
My husband will be doing some digging and patching to the foundation because with the mini thaw we’ve had we’ve been taking in some water in the basement. Boo. No fun. Luckily it’s in the back storage area and not really affecting our main living space down there… but, I guess we’ll see if we spring any other leaks when the real meltdown is on! I guess that’s the fun of buying an older home. You never know what fun awaits you!
Luckily my husband builds houses, so he knows what to do.
Meanwhile, I just panic and put everything up on risers awaiting the tidal wave to come through.
