Winterlude

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!!!!! Winterlude is ON in the nation’s capital. I plan to take in the festivities with my family this weekend for sure. The kids love the giant snow slides in Jacques Cartier Park so we’ll HAVE to take them.
We do it for the kids you know… (love those slides!)
There is so much to see and do at Winterlude over the next few weeks, dog sledding, skating, Beaver Tails, ice sculptures, snow sculptures, Beaver Tails, hot air balloon rides, bed races, Beaver Tails……..mmmmmmmmm…. Like I said, it’s the most Wonderful time of the year! The season of the Beaver Tail! You’ll have to try the Obama Tail available at Beaver Tail huts on the day President Obama comes to town, February 19th! Kurt and Karen got to pre-sample its maple goodness this morning. As a Beaver Tail connoisseur, I’ll have to give it a whirl. We’ll see how it measures up against my personal favourite.... The Tequila Sunrise…. Mmm…..
Maybe I’ll see you around Winterlude this weekend and if you’re headed to the Sens game Saturday night – see ya there!
