Tropical Depression

So, I made it through my first week of what they call a “tropical depression”…. 

So hard to come back from Jamaica to this bitter cold and 20 cm of snow!   It’s amazing how you can go from +30 to -30 in just a day! It was a wonderful trip though.  My husband and I never really had a formal honeymoon so it was great to have that time away.  There are so many wonderful things to see and do there and if you have the pleasure of visiting Jamaica at some point, you MUST visit the Dunns River Falls. On this excursion you form a human chain with perfect strangers and make your way 600 feet up the falls, stopping to take a dip into little lagoons and hiding under swift waterfalls.  It is one of the most beautiful places on the island.

 Also be sure to try the “Jamaican Smile” the “Dirty Banana” and of course, their famous Red Stripe Beer.

(Like I said, it was a long overdue trip…. We indulged J)

 Back here on planet earth, nice to hear the busses will actually get rolling again sometime soon!

It’s been 51 days of frustration, juggling, car pooling, traffic jams, missed appointments, missed work and the list goes on.

Hopefully our great city will now get back to some sense or normalcy for all…
