Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Well, we had an interesting show today right out of the gate… from my co-host getting stuck in her driveway and arriving to work 3 minutes to air… what a trooper!  To Santa dropping by 87 George St. for a special appearance to take calls from our viewers, to the gingerbread train that “we thought we could” assemble… but in turn, “we can’t”…. there were some very funny moments!

I am so excited for Christmas… my girls are at such a fun age and are so into the holidays. I can’t wait to see their faces tomorrow morning when they wake up!  I have so many wonderful Christmas memories and traditions from my family that I’m passing down to my own.  One of them is to hide baby Jesus.  Yes… hide him.  So, we take the baby Jesus figurine from the manger and hide him away until Christmas morning.  When the girls wake up the first thing they do before they can tear into the presents is get baby Jesus, put him in the manger and sing Happy Birthday.  After all this is Jesus’ birthday, it’s about him, not just about the presents!

I’m even more excited for the 27th because that is the day my sister and niece arrive from Halifax and that is when our Christmas will really begin!

I’m heading home now to wrap the remainder of the presents… WHEW!  No quick task that was this year!

Whatever you’re doing, enjoy your holidays with your friends and families and all the best to you!

Take Care and Be Safe…

Angie
