Thank- you everyone for your generous donations in our 2nd Annual Great Fame for Food Drive!  What a generous community we live in.  Because of your donations the The Ottawa Food Bank will be able to supply food cupboards and other agencies in our city, provide breakfast programs for children heading off to school and snacks for after school, and help out so many families this time of year and beyond.

While we do this drive just before Christmas, something to keep in mind is that hunger never ends and the demand is growing.  Maybe put a reminder in your calendar for every month to make a donation and help out all year round.  It doesn’t have to be a huge amount.  There are a lot of people struggling right now and as we’ve heard from The Ottawa Food Bank before, the first thing to be cut from the budget is food.
